Physiologist and Performance Nutritionist
Guy is a specialist in exercise physiology and performance nutrition. He has developed a diverse background over the past 20 years, having worked with athletes across a range of ages, abilities and sports. He has a particular interest in the provision of nutrition in endurance and team sports athletes. Guy is an advocate of the translation of science into practice.
Currently, his academic work is exploring the effects of ketogenic diets on endurance performance, with and without carbohydrate supplementation. Alongside this, he provides consultancy to a number of organisations.
Sport and Exercise Physiologist
Ian is highly experienced and specialised sport and exercise physiologist. He splits his time between physiological support, research, and technical duties. Ian has been involved in several published peer reviewed journal articles of varying topics with a particular focus on blood flow restriction training.
He has worked with elite individual athletes and sport teams including GB triathletes, distance runners, F1 drivers, professional tennis players, rowers, professional football teams and many more. He has also gained further experience in Australia at a variety of institutes and sports teams.
Sport and Exercise Biomechanist
Simon is a Sport and Exetcise Biomechanist, having completed a PhD at the University of Chichester in 2021. He currently works as Senior Lecturer in Sport Biomechanics at Kingston University. His research has focused on analysing movement patterns to bridge the gap between coaching and training practices.
He has worked with athletes and clients across different settings (e.g. sport and occupational) to help improve performance and reduce injury risk. He is currently working on external research projects with FIFA to investigate injury risk in women’s football and the use of AI in talent identification.
Sport and Exercise Physiologist
Carla is a highly experienced and specialised sport and exercise physiologist, with a key focus on overtraining in athletes. Carla has written several published peer reviewed journal articles of varying topics with a particular focus on exercise immunology, hormonal biomarkers of overtraining and female physiology.
She has worked with professional athletes and clinical clients to help improve sporting performance and maintain optimal health. She is currently working on projects assessing changes in immune function across the menstrual cycle and the use of blood flow restricted exercise in maintaining immune and muscle health in older adults.
